2- Rohit Sharma has become the first player in the world to score the most runs in the first Test match as an opener. Kepler Wessels scored 208 in the first Test match as an opener. Rohit Sharma has also achieved this record by scoring 303 runs in this match.

3- Rohit Sharma has scored 127 runs in 149 balls with a strike rate of 85.23 in 149 balls with the help of 10 fours and 7 sixes. This is Rohit Sharma's fifth century in Test cricket.
