Google recently joined Coalition for better ads and since they joined they came up with their tool called Funding Choices. This is for websites to use for visitors who use adblocking software to be force to watch, pay or leave the website. This is supposed to force people via message who would like visit the webpage to compensate the writers and owners of works in a way. They can either turn off ad blocker, pay the subscription or leave the page.
This replaces the Google Contributor that was discontinued in 2016. On the Contributor you could pay a fee for less ads.
This tool will also improve ad quality via "Better Ads Standards". This would include the notorious popup ads, for flash animation ads and more.
There is opposition to this as some believe that this is just another way for Google to get control over more of the internet sphere for content and creation.
Google will release its own version for its Chrome browser next year as default setting.
Google plans on charging 10% of what ever fee the site operators choose.
What is your opinion? Good or bad? And why?

I think this is a great idea, as someone who has taken many a nauseating Diply dive, I think corralling the wild west of garbage advertisement is a positive step towards a better internet experience for all. How do you feel about the changes?
