The brush is capable of giving feedback in real time, for this you need to synchronize the device with the iOS-application Colgate Connect. Android version is not provided.

The device makes a "card of the mouth" and makes sure that the user properly cleans his teeth. Based on the data obtained, the application makes recommendations for oral care. Also, the brush makes "sound vibrations" to remove more plaque.

For children Colgate has developed a special game Go Pirate, built into the application. The brush acts as a controller - the more a child brushes his teeth, the more coins he can get.

In Colgate argue that the E1 brush is able to work on one charge for ten days.

Colgate is not the first company to develop an intelligent toothbrush. In 2017, Kolibree released a similar device, which costs $ 129, but it is synchronized not only with iOS, but also with Android. Colgate uses its Kolibree technology in its E1 brushes.
