IOTA | New GUI release | MAM & Flash deployment | Big upgrades ahead

David Sønstebø, founder of IOTA, to announce major upgrades and updates for the coming weeks and months. A detailed report is expected later tonight, which will dial in on the IOTA protocol, ecosystem and progress/roadmap.

Actions ahead?

"Tonight at 8:00 PM / 20:00 CET+1 there will be a snapshot which represents the first stage of IOTA’s upgrade marathon. The procedure will be very simple and straightforward for anyone that has participated in a snapshot previously. We will provide instructions, a video and an FAQ section for those that have never participated previously tomorrow before the event."

"If you have iotas on an exchange (such as Bitfinex) you don’t have to do anything. This update is coordinated and thus seamless and automatic for all exchange holders"

Where is community help needed?

"Flash Channels and Masked Authenticated Messaging (MAM) are on the verge of being ready for publication and first deployment. The more testing we can get done, the faster these and other modules will go from prototypes into IOTA adoption driving applications. So everyone should gear up and prepare for some intense weeks of participating in pushing progress forward at a rapid pace"

Exciting news! IOTA is a lot more quiet than EOS but certainly as interesting!

Iota doesnt hype up their announcements:) imo much more interesting than EOS. I still cant see through that ERC-20 situation. How is that going to work?

Once the blockchain is created they will credit you for any current ERC-20 EOS tokens you hold. Next summer they expect to launch.
