An emergency hearing in Brooklyn, New York just occurred that blocks part of President Trump's immigration ban that has provoked outrage in the US and abroad, the New York Times just reported 15 minutes ago. Watch the source video on ACLU's Twitter page that shows it being announced that Trump's 'Muslim ban' has just been blocked by a judge: https://twitter.com/ACLU/status/825534620015931393

Trump's immigration policy, known as the 'Muslim ban' consists of:

The president’s order, enacted with the stroke of a pen at 4:42 p.m. Friday, suspended entry of all refugees to the United States for 120 days, barred Syrian refugees indefinitely, and blocked entry into the United States for 90 days for citizens of seven predominantly Muslim countries: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

I was scanning the news this evening and learned of 4 airports in the US where there were sizable protests going on. It was learned that immigrants with visas were being detained after Trump enacted his executive order banning travelers from 7 countries. The protests were quickly formed to demand that the immigrants, caught in the middle of this ban be released.
A judge in Brooklyn has just announced that the immigrants/travelers will be released.

Here's one of the videos from the protest at JFK airport:

Here's another video that shows people at the airport protesting Trump's Immigration ban:

This news was just released within the last few minutes, so there aren't a lot of sources yet. Also, it's not clear how this block will actually function and what time period it will cover. From what I can assertain, it will allow those individuals to be released who are currently being detained at airports across the USA, who have arrived from the countries on Trump's list.

Trumps ban on people entering the USA already caused some of my friends not to perform as performing artists, anymore in the USA. They belong to the top in their segment of music. Hopefully many more famous people will follow. Together with country leaders, US citizens protests, and hopefully also companies, pushing back on Trumps new rules for US visa, this will changethe strange way of thinking of President Trump.

it's widely known that Trump is a sociopath. It's very disturbing to see how we are all being negatively affected by his insanity.

this is a circus right now

the rest of the world is saying WTF. With the news of the ex-KGB officer being murdered, and who was one of the main ones creating the Trump dossier, it's chaos here in the US.

you got that right! sheer chaos, im in aww right now

you in Europe or US or somewhere else?

im currently in california, but will be in london in two days.

live in us - I travel quite often overseas for buisness, I know this dont effect me but i swear it puts everything on edge

It will affect all of us, the entire world.

you know you are right! I was just thinking that as I hit send. this does effect us all. as I said before, im really in shock and aww, I honestly dont know what to think. been glued to youtube and various opinions and whats even more mad is the spread of opinions and dynamic in arguments, there is trouble here.

what people don't realize is that Trump is a sociopath. He exhibits all the usual signs. This is just a fact. I was very close to a sociopath at one time, and I know very well what the signs are.....

I agree the mans head is not on straight. I found it humorous in the beg, never thinking he would actually get elected. Then after the pussy grab locker talk tape release i pretty much lost it on him completely, i grew up in abuse and being put down as a woman, and seeing people especially religious people support a man like that, who can act and say such things, and even go as far as thinking hes from god just angers me very much. The mans off his nut

exactly. I am wondering just what lies ahead in the future. There are consequences for doing bad things your whole life..........

your right and those consequences are now gonna be faced by the entire planet as you said before, this is a shock wave that is gonna be felt. Mexico is banning together behind there president right now , china is upset with trump, who knows what russia and putin has planned, thats a little scary, and him and trump are meeting in a day or so. Anti trump groups are growing wildly around the globe.

It was a circus 3 month ago. It has now just begun the interesting part.

Just saw the news myself. Thanks for posting it here.

I realized I was in a bubble.........

And then?...

I guess I had to besmirch this place with the external events that are unfolding that are much out of my control....

Much better than calling the Steemit Suicide line!

The Steemicide Hotline is a fantasy/reality show that is fun to create. This Trump stuff is just pure nightmare.

why saudis are exempted from this ban?

That is quite (political) logical; The Saudi's being 'mates' of the US, the oil, the only country large and powerful enough to take a stand against sworn US enemies (Iran, Jemen) the US having military bases in Saudi. Basically, politics rather than common logical actions.

They are allies.
So they will get banned as much as their ties to Osama bin Laden were scrutinized.

If you like to live together with more muslims, I suggest you move to saudiarabia. Good luck!

you can be sure this judge is going to take some flak for doing his job by the president henchmen!

That's the bad news. I really hope that Trump will be accepted, not only in the hearts of Muslims, but in the hearts of all citizens of the world.
