North Korea stealing bitcoin? According to CNN they are...

CNN is accusing the Kim Jung Un regime in North Korea is amassing a "bitcoin war chest". This is coincidental news as the UN has pursued new sanctions on the isolated nation. The military industrial complex, which includes he news media, has a hard on for beating the war drums and will not withhold any lie from continuing its agenda.

While we have no way of knowing what the communist Korea is capable of and cannot verify if they are as malevolent as the US government claims they are, the media hypes every story involving rouge hacking and criminal espionage. Personally I believe the underlying agenda is to undermine the value of bitcoin and crypto currency all together.

As libertarians we should always remain vigilant and aware of behind the scenes actors who wish to spread falsehoods in the media and assume that there are alternative motives. We should also do our own investigative research as best we can to verify or contradict government reports. Please do not blindly follow the mainstream media or talking points from crackpot government heads.
