Really good info as usual! The Steem part is pretty fascinating - I only got started a few days ago and mostly because I got sick of Fb and Youtube echo-chambers. Speaking of which, the Horwich Conservative Club in the UK are doing a presidents club like event:http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/bolton/14778190.UPDATE__Conservative_club_slammed_for_planning__Gentlemen_s_Evening__featuring__strippers_/
No actual problem with them having this event (bias alert: I was a burlesque dancer and don't have issues with strippers, male or female, just with some of the punters) - but it's poorly timed and the behaviour of those going to these sorts of things has been less than stellar, especially in the Conservative camp.
You'll find that many of us that started on Steemit in 2016 are voluntaryists. This means we really don't care what you do with your own body. Stripper, Prostitute, Drugs, Tattoos, etc. IF you are not harming another person or trampling over their rights or passing laws that force OTHER people to behave a way you want then we say "Good for you, more power to you." That doesn't mean we will agree with everything, but we will defend your right to make your own choices. :)

As with every growing population we have had more of the people that don't actually agree with this join too. A few of them are starting to be successful, but not hugely so.
Yet, more power to them... as long as they don't force you or I.
