PAHRUMP, NV (AP and 3TV/CBS 5) -- Former Maricopa County sheriff and Senate candidate Joe Arpaio was at the birthday party/rally for Moonlite BunnyRanch owner Dennis Hof, who was later found dead.
Hof, who was running for a seat in Nevada's Legislature, was pronounced dead at his Love Ranch brothel in Pahrump, which is outside Las Vegas. He had a private residence there.
On Monday night, Hof celebrated his 72nd birthday.
