Before he was President, Donald Trump was passionate about protecting Net Neutrality

Back in 2014 Donald Trump had a fair few negative things to say about the end of Net Neutrality.

And he was right, by rescinding net neutrality laws we are effectively handing powers of censorship to about four or five big telecom companies, who of course have their own political agendas to push.

Sadly, power corrupts, and now Donald Trump is allowing the FCC assault on basic liberties to go ahead.

I highly doubt he had a serious change of opinion. If he did, he wouldn't be shy to tweet about it. And anyway, Trump complains about media manipulation and lies everyday. It's most often a lot of unsubstantiated nonsense, but at least he is aware of the immense powers that the mainstream media hold and abuse.

I think people should pressure Trump on Twitter to protect Net Neutrality. He has changed his mind due to public pressure before, most recently with the trophy-hunting ban. He is pretty thin skinned, and , if pushed, I honestly believe he will cave to public pressure.

Interesting post mate.

I think we (well, me anyway), underestimate him. (as less intelligent people tend to do with more intelligent people - that's what makes intelligent. lol)

The recent Moore debacle, and now the outing of all the dirty politicians, and the seedy goings on in Washington - I pointed out in an earlier discussion, that the Moore dude, might be in the grand strategy - to open this can of worms - as it seems to be doing.
(I'm claiming a lucky guess, not a great insight! lol)

Who is to say something else isn't going on with the 'net neutrality thing?' - for example - no more FCC in the future..?
The breaking up of all media companies?

I'm not saying this is the case.
I am saying underestimating, or not seeing, trumps long term plans - is exactly what he wants his enemies to do be doing...

(IF he is not a stooge of establishment- I'm not 100% convinced either way, btw)

Yes, Trump knows what he is doing. I trust him.

good work

Trump number one.
