Much like the Jimmy Savile affair, the young victims of Ted Heath's sexual crimes were shamed and bullied, and their advocates were branded conspiracy theorists. Ultimately though, when the perpetrator has deceased and the politicians and powerful figures who were covering their backs have retired, then finally it is revealed that the accusations, if anything, didn't touch the surface of their grave crimes.

The conclusion of a lengthy police report into Edward Heath's crimes has determined that there is sufficient evidence to suspect that he was a paedophile. The most shocking crime he was accused of was paying for sex with an 11-year-old. He will never face justice.

Wiltshire Police launched Operation Conifer in 2015 when the former PM was accused of historical child sex abuse.

The Conservative politician would have been interviewed under caution over seven claims, including the alleged rape of an 11-year-old, they said.

The earliest, dating from 1961 when Sir Edward was Lord Privy Seal, alleged he had raped and indecently assaulted an 11-year-old boy in London "during a paid sexual encounter in private in a dwelling."

Operation Whistle, which is currently investigating an elite paedophile cabal on the UK island of Jersey, has stated that there are 15 suspects involved who are significant public or political figures, including both Heath and Savile. 11 of which are deceased, also including Heath and Savile.

The names of the suspects in Operation Whistle have been held a secret for several years, but will presumably be revealed to the public after the lengthy investigation has concluded. There has not been a public update on the inquiry for two years, though. Let's hope that the revelations of Heath's crimes will spark public interest in the inquiry back to life. We owe this to the victims.
