Earlier today an earthquake with a 7.1 magnitude shook Mexico City and surrounding area. This is the second large quake in less than a month

September has been full of natural disasters and devastating storms. In times like these, it's clear how important immediate aid work is as well as long-term support for rebuilding and healing.

Today happens to be the anniversary of the 1985 earthquake that badly damaged Mexico City

Yeah :( It's time to focus on how best to help in situations like these

I'm not sure why anyone would want to live in a large urban area. That's crazy. Why then would someone want to live in one that is regularly hit with powerful earthquakes?! That's just insane. Seriously, people staying in such places are crazy. I'll never understand them. My children mean to much to me to have them in such places. No thanks!

You have the option to stay some place else,most people don't

I can't remember her name, but there was a post very recently from a woman who is living in Mexico City. She was talking about how it might be time to leave due to the lack of opportunities.
Crap, I really wish I could remember her name.
