A child named Siam Ali (5), drowned in a water tank in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj has died.
The incident took place on Friday (May 04th) at 12:00 pm at Trimohani Sivnagar village of the upazila. The son of Abdul Hamid of Chatra village of Chakkati union of Siam upazila.
The deceased Siam's uncle Sakabul Islam said that Siam went to his khala's house in Shivnagar village. He was playing near a dove in front of Khala's house at noon. At one stage, he was drowned in the water. After searching for him, he rescued him from the dip and took him to Shibganj Upazila Health Complex and declared the doctor dead.
