I tested steemit thru dtube by posting 3 videos and 2 of them considered controversial by some because there are some people who believe they have rights and then there are people who think that people like Police can do no wrong even if they do.. so i had made a few pennies on all the videos then somebody with more power than the rest of the video watchers thumbed them down basically Delisting them.
Some videos are posted by independent media and know body has to like the video but it has to be posted for transparency of Mostly government actions, so i as the poster should still get paid for every view even if a few nasty heavy weights in the system don't agree with the video or its title.
Hopefully a truly fair youtube - facebook type system will be built on the blockchain and i will go there.
