So you PS4 fanboys thought your little black box was gonna win over the Xbox One years earlier? Well, I hate to burst your ravenous fan bubbles because Microsoft is stealing Sony's thunder BIG TIME!! That's right, you read that right, the Xbox One has once again OUTSOLD the PS4 on one of the busiest days of the holiday shopping season. Drumroll.....BLACK FRIDAY!!
I'm really not sure how Sony feels about Microsoft overtaking them like two stock cars on a racing track in sales of their respective hardware and user installed base, but from the looks of it, I think they are clearly shaking in their corporate boots as of this moment, the console wars are really heating up in the video game industry; especially with Microsoft's impressive library of games and XBLA to boot. Microsoft is laughing it's way to the bank while Sony is jeering at just how their number one rival has beaten them to the punch in sales. If you didn't buy an Xbox One on Day 1 launch, now's the time to "jump in". I expect this holiday season to be a huge winner for Microsoft if they can maintain this streak of well-deserved success.

Hot girl btw.
Here's the news. Microsoft Xbox One outsells PS4 in two weeks; with 1.2 unit sales according to this month's data; courtesy of research firm NPD Group (almost sounds like NYPD, dont' ya think?) after 3 years and several months, Xbox One finally breaks it's losing streak; thanks in big part to it's price drop and strong, impressive library of exclusive games.
Corporate Vice President Of Marketing Mike Nichols has himself confirmed that Xbox One was the best selling console of 2014; not only in the United States, but also abroad; particularly in the United Kingdom. Geekwire has also confirmed 1.2m in sales as well as Tom Warren of The Verge, an American news and technology media network owned and operated by Vox Media. However, the exact sales figures have yet to still be officially released by Microsoft and although the media giant has taken it's lion share of the profits, Nintendo's Wii U has the smallest portion of sales figures; whose estimated sales figures are around 200,000 consoles while PS4 's sales estimate are said to be somewhere between 750,000 and 800,000. But overall, Xbox One has now set the records; and is the best selling console in the history of the video game industry.
Microsoft has struggled in the past. After announcing almost draconian/Orwellian DRM-like policies regarding piracy, which in itself had NOTHING TO DO WITH PIRATING GAMES, and more on the lines of having iron-fisted grip which turned off a huge amount of consumers; almost jumping ship to Sony's PS4, Microsoft realized the error of their ways and made a big change to their business model and for the most part, their gamble payed off. Now consumers are warming up to Microsoft's mighty little black box even more with the addition of the upgraded Xbox One S and the potential of the power of the mysterious Project Scorpio. With the help of user feedback, removal of mandatory Kinect, improving in terms of product design, meeting and taking to heart the needs of consumers, monthly release of updates which contributed significant enhancement of the console's quality of life, jettison Xbox Live requirements, dripping consumers wet with a price drop and Xbox Games with Gold led immensely to it's success with users enjoying logging into Xbox Live. They have improved indeed.
Needless to say, they have won back the crowd.
Since it's reveal back in late 2013, Microsoft has been competing with Sony in what fans dub the most heated console war to date; completely ignoring the Wii U; a console that sadly has been almost abandoned by everyone and not even the staunchest Nintendo fan can't help but admit it's a commercial failure. But a true gamer doesn't value one console over the other; rather ALL consoles; regardless of sales figures, user install base, and whatnot. I happen to love all consoles. Fans have yet to realize that it's the quality and quantity of the games that matter; not hardware, specs, amount of graphical power, etc. But a company's bottom line is still very important and is a key factor in determining a console's success.
But for now, as of this moment, Microsoft, for all it's hard work and determination, is in a very celebratory mood right now.

And I for one have nothing but praise for Microsoft's diligent efforts in making their consoles a smashing success!!
