The conversation surrounding concussions in sport has been under the spotlight all week after NSW Blues captain Boyd Corder ruled himself out of the Origin series due to ongoing issues with head knocks.
With many pundits including former Wallaby Peter FitzSimons all voicing their concerns at Cordner's latest head knock, Gallen urged fans and media to take a step back to allow the medical experts to handle the situation.
"I think we've got to be guided by the medical experts and so does Boyd," Gallen told 2GB's Wide World of Sports Radio.
