Ten people were hospitalized after a shooting incident in Moss Side, Manchester, England.
The police said that all victims suffered various injuries, ranging from "minor injuries to severe injuries".
The incident occurred on Sunday (12/08) at 2:30 a.m., local time, after the Caribbean Carnival which had just finished a few hours earlier.
Sky News reports that in the early hours the police received reports of gunfire on Claremont Road. A number of armed officers came to the scene and found a number of people who were injured by gunfire.
Detective Debbie Dooley said: "We currently have a number of people in the hospital being treated for different injuries, but fortunately most of them are currently threatened.
"Officers tried to determine where this incident happened and who was responsible for such a dangerous attack."
Additional officers will patrol the area for the next few days to convince the public, he added.
