I was going to comment about how well written of a post this was. . . Oh well. Anyway, this is why you don't have an economy dependant on oil. When the price drops, your fucked.

...or dependent on any one source. I've seen it in different parts of the U.S., as jobs in steel mills and logging declined, but for a whole country to be so dependent on one source of income is asking for trouble.
