1. The peak of Ancient Volcano
The peak of Nglanggeran Ancient Mountain is at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level (mdpl). Tourists can see beautiful sunrise or sunrise from this place. It took about an hour to get to the top of the mountain.
Mount Gedhe, called the western peak of Ancient Volcano, is rather roomy but can not be used for camping or erecting tents. If you want to set up a tent, can shift down about 50 meters. From the summit of Mount Gedhe, tourists can also enjoy the grandeur of Mount Lima Jari.
- Embung Nglanggeran
Embung or water reservoir Nglanggeran Fruit Farm in Nglanggeran Tourism Village has an area of 0.34 hectares. This embankment is used to irrigate the orchard of durian montong and kelan kane.
Located about 1.5 kilometers southeast of the entrance of the Ancient Mountain Ecotourism Area. Embung Nglanggeran is the first embung in Yogyakarta. This embossment was built in mid-2012 and inaugurated on February 19, 2013.
Mini reservoirs located at an altitude of 495 masl is a prima donna for the hunters sunset. This embankment is also a place of learning for the area that wants to build the embung. The parking lot in Ngbanggeran Embung area is spacious and suitable for community gatherings, including motorcycle, car and bicycle communities.
- Kedung Kandang Waterfall
This seasonal waterfall is located south of the Ancient Volcano. There is a terracing of rice paddy fields belonging to the village farmers. This waterfall is located in the middle of rice field terraces and shaped volcanic rock stairs. Water flow with good views is only found during the rainy season.
Access to this waterfall is trekkingturun from the parking lot and slightly uphill when down the road home. We recommend coming in the rainy season.
