Dash is pretty much a Blue Chip crypto. There are so many great hings coming up. Copay wallet is going to get out of Beta stage soon and Evolution is going to become a massive upgrade. https://discoverdash.com shows that the currency is actually being used.
But for a HODL I'd like to recommend PIVX over Dash. It's a lot like Dash but very tiny marketcap.
I must do a little research on PIVX then, I've heard of it sure but it's never really been on my radar. There are too many projects to keep up to date with them all :)
