The attack was related to a “reentrancy” bug similar to that which exploited The Decentralized Autonomous Organization (The DAO). The hacker reportedly created a malicious contract mimicking an ERC20 token, with a “transfer” function calling back into the payment channel smart contract multiple times in a loop, extracting Ethereum each time.
If there is a way to steal your coins someone will figure it out. Smart contracts may be hard to hack, but they still have weaknesses.
What is this spankchain?
It's a multi token system where you can stake Spank tokens in the, um, SpankBank and create your own tokens for your own site. You can use your staked spank coins to create the ERC-20 booty coins.
Perverts can pay web skanks with the booty token which can be exchanged. I am a fan of staking coins to make more coins. This seems geared to paying adult entertainers, which will never be as awesome as viewers getting paid to watch porn. The cam girl market is massive though.
