In the city where I live, the police are pushing hard for drones (I've reported on it here and here. There's been some push back, but it's almost certainly going to happen. I'm hoping my reporting will at least get a tougher policy in place -- the one written by the police is nearly a blank check.

@doitvoluntarily, is there anyway to stop drones from being a routine part of police work or is the technology inevitable?
