There is a new product coming out that is a bike which gives you coins as you ride it. According to the article you can earn $30 for every 1,000 miles that you ride. Sweet, I plan on getting back in shape and incentives are always a plus. The bike is also a way to encourage more green friendly solutions in the area of blockchain tech and travel.
I'm all for this and would get a stationary one (if possible) but 1,000 miles does seem like a lot. It is still better than nothing and a cool idea to get started with. I want to see more games like wii had that had coins. Games can not only reward people for the game itself but also have leaderboards and online competitions. I do not know about you but when I am playing against someone it really pushes me on the work-out. I lost many pounds on dance dance, more than I should admit too :p.
You could probably have shoes too that could give coins.

There needs to be a calculator which tells you how many miles you have to ride to pay of the bike!

Basically never. If you already use a human power bike the electricity will cost you more.
And if you already using an electric, that would mean you have to use up the whole buying price and the remaining worth of the old one.
Means you would probably have to bike three times around the earth (30K miles). Ignoring the risk that you may not get anything from their worthless coin...

1000 miles is not impossible but it's a bit tasking if you ask me, let Me ask, shouldn't there be like a lesser price for 500 miles?

1000 miles is not that much if you really use that bike. Don't forget it is an electric, so your range is even greater then with a normal one (if you aren't a sports-trained user).
5 miles to work and back each day, 50 miles a week, you can get 2000 miles a year just from that small commute.
There are people biking 20 miles per way each day...

Oh I thought that it was some sort of fitness app until I read the article. It's actually a hardware based solution for mining crypto.
Idea being - When the you ride the bike a part of the energy is converted into electricity which is then used to power a small custom built mining setup

You pay more on wear then you get.
Also I doubt that this is that easy. You probably have to pay upfront for 5000 miles in the bike price.
Even if not, most people don't finish 1000 miles on their bike if they don't have it for work or already doing biking tours.
It may just be a total marketing trick. Not to mention that cleary it is expected that you use that "money" at their store.
If they really cared for environment, this would not be an electric bike but a boring old body power bike ;)
