Indonesia's Semeru volcano erupted on Saturday, killing at least 13 people and injuring nearly a hundred, according to the country's disaster agency (BPNB). Hundreds of people were also evacuated and emergency teams are working to search for and evacuate affected neighbors in the area. Indonesia sits on the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire, where seismic activity is high and earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur regularly.
