This popular CNN reporter ISHA Sessay, announed her resignation from the organization after 13years of service. She revealed her resignation on her twitter handle in this way that she "HAS LEFT CNN".
Giving the reason why she left, CNN, she said that she is writing a book and she wants to focus on it. But the more obvious reason she give for leaving CNN was her frustration with western media negative obsession of President Trump. She said that the media is so focused on Trump up to the extent that they are failing to report any other meaningful thing out there and that for her personally, that is not what she wants to spend all her time doing.
For me, I think she is correct, CNN has always been very obsessed with negative coverage of President Trump since he took office and I don't think any sane person will be about to keep up with such negativity.
This does not speak well of CNN at all.

I remember her time in Nigeria and her coverage of the Chibok girls. Well best of luck to her. I don't watch CNN anymore though but I'm glad she can see blatantly the maddening obsession with Trump

I can see it totally being the reason. This Trumpathon has been going on for about 4 years now and I got sick of it over a year ago. If my passion is reporting real news but the majority of my scripts are always about Trump and I saw no end to it in sight, I think that would make me quit.
