Yeah, police protecting its officers sounds very familliar... My dad had a car crash with a police car and it was clearly the police officer fault but the case was dragged on court. Even tho the officer got caught having fake witnesses it was just removed from the records and the trial continued as if nothing happend. The case was so dragged out that it expired and the case was closed without any result. In the end it was just a waste of time and money for lawyers and "justice" was nowhere to be found. Shame.
