Saudi Arabia says 17 detained in sweeping crackdown

Saudi Arabia on Saturday stated it detained 17 people for “undermining” the kingdom's protection, in what campaigners have dubbed a sweeping crackdown against activists simply weeks before a ban on women riding ends.
