you can’t have a positive reaction without a negative they say.
seems we have had two hard forks and gone back fifty years! :)

In the pursuit of progress, stability and reliability will be spent in the pursuit of ever lasting progress but with every two steps you will take you will apply -2 steps to someone else who will make your next two steps even more harder the next time around.

Remember multiple income streams, multiple redundancies, better failover, better communications and one tweet per 14 hrs is not enough. Maybe a lot of the behaviour of the chain needed to change but shoe horning things that get "parts of the chain" by for some and leave everyone else dangling is not the grounds for a successful blockchain project.

The head of a hydra has many heads in virtual space. All with ulterior motives, half a day down for an immutable chain is kinda sucky (and this was yesterday) sorry, but its true — I know the steem maximalists will be mad at me saying that but this shit is fragile AF from the public eye, combined with the price, it just looks dead, we can't keep adding more nails to the coffin.

You cannot keep damaging the reputation of this blockchain in this manner, you cannot just keep expending ‘community’ at the expense of experimentation. this chain maybe is too broad in projects not to fail but its reputation in blockchain projects certainly is.
