Creating Elite Players: Newsletter Day 59

I've got multiple things to share with you today, so you know the deal. I've organized everything under appropriate headers.

Cart Open?

We're getting so close to launch now... I finished working on the sales and order page for Elite Players: Newsletter today. Well, there is one thing left to set up – the order bump(s).

While the cart doesn't officially open until Monday, I have unofficially opened it today, which you have the benefit of knowing because you read my posts.

I also did quite a bit of work on the website in preparation of the launch. You'll find all relevant links below.

Blogging Experiment

What should these blog posts be called once I'm done creating Elite Players: Newsletter? And, should I move myself over to HIVE, and start a whole new blogging experiment?

For now, I think, I will continue to blog on Steemit. At some point, I'm thinking about going on a posting frenzy, because I have a ton of content I haven't shared here yet. It seems like an appropriate thing to do to close out this blogging experiment.

I chose Steemit rather intuitively, and I still believe there was a reason for that. I don't have all the answers now, but as much as this journey has been about the unexpected, it really has been about learning to trust myself and follow my intuition too.

Either way, the daily updates will likely shift to Promoting Elite Players: Newsletter or something like that, because while I do think the newsletter will find its audience, there's no guarantee there will be widespread interest upon its launch.

More Stumbles on the Journey

Ever notice how when you go through rental fraud, long, dark nights of the soul, and lawsuits, that everything else seems small by comparison?

Well, I do, because as you'll recall, that (and a litany of other unexpected surprises) have been part and parcel of this journey.

A couple of days ago, I noticed my car wasn't starting without struggle. It still started, though, so I didn't think much of it. It also started last night, but it was at that point that though the car wouldn't start the next morning. I was right.

I had to pay a bit of money to set up a new membership with BCAA to get roadside assistance, but all they had to do was clear the corrosion away from my battery, give it a quick charge, and I was off to the races.

Obviously, I'll want to replace the battery before I even think about driving back to Calgary. If anything, I'll probably want to get it swapped out in the next couple of days. But at most, these proceedings only set me back an hour, and I did manage to find a great deal on an Airbnb as well.

I feel like I'm getting a crash course in what it's like to be a digital nomad, and I'm getting a much better sense of how to be prepared for a variety of scenarios. Real world experience is where it's at.
