Steemit is a Fundraiser
The Steem blockchain is much more than just a way to financially reward blog posts and there is a world of possibility in terms of potential use-case scenarios. Smart Media Tokens will allow diverse applications of the new technology. As we prepare for the launch of @bldgblox, we’ll publish a number of articles like this one that showcase our thought process of how to disrupt certain sectors with the available raw tools.

Steem Stats Contest
Steem is starting to get the public and market recognition it deserves, and it’s of no surprise. Steem has consistently been the best performing blockchain in terms of number of transactions and speed. So, as a tribute to the currency and as a fun public contest, we launched a Steem Stats campaign to see how we can best showcase these aspects to the public. Have a look at the prompt and entries so far here!

We thought we would have some fun with this one. Cryptocurrency has gone off the deep end in terms of FUD and misconception for the general public during the last year. In an effort to dispel the misinformation and encourage people to take a more earnest look at the technology, we did a playful video emulating a popular video of 2017. Enjoy!
