Bowmore is considered a higher end Scotch whisky distillery that’s owned by Beam-Suntory. Founded in 1779, it is noted for being the oldest licensed distillery in the Islay region of Scotland. Its legendary No. 1 Vaults are where some of its oldest whiskies are stored in cool, dark, damp cellars below sea level, and it is from here its newest super luxury bottling has emerged.
