Scotland’s The GlenDronach distillery has long been known for its sherry cask focused Scotch single malt whisky program. Typically the whiskies here go through different periods of aging in these cask types before being bottled straight away. A little bit rarer is a second maturation, or finishing, of this brown spirit in other cask type. A new release from here though is bucking this trend.
