As expected, Baldur’s Gate 3 — a sequel to 2000’s Baldur’s Gate 2: Shadows of Amn — is in development at Larian Studios, the Belgian developer behind the critically acclaimed Divinity: Original Sin series. Announced today as one of the games available in Google’s Stadia November 2019 launch window, Baldur’s Gate 3 will be “based off current D&D mechanics and spells and is the official new chapter in the legendary series,” according to a press release.
