It could be absolutely possible with the vast growth of the markets and the vast number of people getting into the market every year. 6 months back, no one had the slightest idea that bitcoin would hit $20,000 but it did. There were other alts which achieved vast growth within just a matter of few months. This all shows that Bitcoin hitting $1 Million would not be a total surprise as anything is possible in the crypto world.

At this juncture, Bitcoin has huge fees and the transfer rate is extremely slow compared to other cryptos. This has surely dented the confidence in Bitcoin. This might soon change with the introducion of lightening network and might again create whole lot of demand for Bitcoin that would see it's price skyrocketing.

The most important question is, when would it hit $1 Million.
