Top 10 Dumb Downvote Objections

But if I would get downvoted for a reason that I don't agree in, I would just go ahead and upvote myself to recover the losses from that downvote. (Meaning REP loss, idc about the steem payout)
(I don't normally vote for myself)

Like IDC what people do with their stake, they are free to downvote me, because that's their decision, and their right to do so.

EDIT: And also I lately I have noticed that steemit community doesn't accept oppinions from small stake holders (Like me).
If I go somewhere and just want to say out my oppinion, I find myself being flagged for a couple of days.
Like jeez, fine I won't tell y'all what I think when I get treated like that.

I was told the otherday to use honey instead of vinegar when downvoting and criticizing poor behavior on the blockchain (people were encouraged to resteem and comment a bid bot abused token shill for 1 steem) because that's why Americans voted Trump.

Some would argue that we have Trump as president right now because people got sick of being told what they should think and feel. Honey works better than vinegar...

He was upset that I said people who resteem the spammy bidbot abuse crypto shill for 1 steem should be ashamed. He said I actually encouraged him to do it because I said it is shameful.

That's a sure sign of someone who could be trolling. Can't stop everyone from behaving badly. However, I'm sure a few people saw the top comments were all controversial and decided they better pass, not to mention the number of downvotes received.

Steem will not get any better with his attitude. Also, if we treat bad behavior with honey (we tried for 3 years), it doesn't exactly lead to a good outcome.

My favourite was when someone insulted me for downvoting them, then said English wasn't his first language. Apparently he had no idea how offensive it was to tell someone to have intercourse with their mother, cat and themselves because yeah, different culture.

Why do you want to respect other people's feelings and points of view? Are you afraid of having your own feelings hurt, your point of view being changed? If people have opinions that differ from yours, you can find out if they are true only by questioning them, by coming into active contact with them.

Tried that honestly. How would you describe someone who downvotes content that has been promoted using a bid bot that only accepts steem engine tokens even if it is a 1SBD upvote, but just ignores content from any other bid bot?

I use my 2 daily DVs all the time now and people will ask me why I DV even when they grossly bid botting like are you a simpleton of some sort or did you really think reward farming was going to last?

I'd bet on 1.00$ Jan/Feb/March 2020, but before that... we could keep dropping for a little while longer maybe. Coinmarketcap showed me earlier that some STEEM (around 1.000,00€ in volume) was sold for 0.07€ today.
