By now you must have known that there is nothing new in the NewSteem, to me, its just an attempt at rebranding which is not working because same song, same dance is like before in the hay days of Steem.
As an ordinary Steem user, i mean those not Avids BidBot Users, everyday of using any Steem interface or Tribe platform comes with the fear of being downvoted by some Bitter souls out of no where.
I have been a valiant Steem Ambassador take it or leave it, and at first i was hoping the NewSteem movement is the real deal so i was promoting it at times on Twitter. Boy, i was wrong because since the Flagship of this new movement, have been flagged unsolicitedly without cause and i have seen dozens of complaints too, why this is so is simple, the recent Hardfork encouraged this act of madness since there is a separate pool for Downvoting.
So people would come out of nowhere to flag your blogpost out of difference in ideology or pure dissagreement with your topic. Users who never will support you will come gladly to deny you of those tiny upvotes? So much craziness going on because if this isn't what you witnesses envisage while coming up with this model, this is the time to review it and do another fork to eradicate this nonesense.
If you think downvoting will discourage using BidBots, its not working, you just made things worse for Users with little stakes, soon we all will leave this place and let it rotten in all its madness, bitterness and greed!
