We have released an early beta version of a new feature yesterday, and therefore the first Buff. We've just released an update with the second Buff.
The second Buff available is Battle Speed. This Buff increases the speed of all rocket, laser, and bullet type battleships temporary to a fixed level. This is essential for the commanders of huge fleets. This Buff can be purchased multiple times so that the periods add up and thus last for a longer period. This buff effects on the account level.
The second Buff can already be used on Jarunik's client and will be available in the next days also on the main frontend. Here is a preview:
This Buff increases speed and leads to a clear distinction of the battleship types. This should have a positive effect on market trades.
We will probably implement more Buffs in the next weeks. Buffs are always temporary and available for Stardust. Buffs will be an enrichment for the game and a fantastic Stardust sink.

This is very nice! Works perfectly with my Ship Formula! The Bullet Class battleships will eventually be the rarest, and this will help potential buyers of my Ships to understand why the Bullets are the most expensive. Not only will they run out in the future, because the Blueprints in the Shop have a limit, but they can now have an added Speed bonus! Get those Blueprints while their still available! Very well thought out update, as always!!!

Thank you as always, for the support and the words of encouragement. I'm still using this formula everyday; it's very useful and practical. And it really compliments this Speed Buff because in the end, the Bullet Class blueprints will run out, and become very rare. This Speed Buff giving more speed to the Bullets, also justifies their value being higher. My Scout Sentry and Scout Minerva ships now have the same price - 3.367 STARDUST - because I was able to activate the Laser Class blueprints on all of my planets. The Scout Athene, however, is 5.9 STARDUST because only 4 of my planets can produce them. This formula obviously does not apply to the Yamatos!!!

What is the chance of ships getting lost in exploration? Does it scale with distance or are there other factors that affect the chance?

That still doesn't answer the question! If the table says "Destroyer - Rocket - 5" does it mean it gets +5 speed on top of its base speed (so the final speed is 3+5=8), or does the speed become exactly 5?

This is a drastic change to the dynamics. It seems like this will basically just force everyone to spend 5k SD per week (to play equally). This will have almost no effect on the whales, but will hit the newer/underprivileged negatively.
For me personally the feeling I get is -another weekly bill-.
