The New York Jets have hired former player and New York Jet great Leon Washington as a special teams assistant. Washington is 3rd All-Time in #Jets career kick return yards with 2,986 & 1st All-Time with 4 TDs
He’s also 10th in #Jets history with 599 punt return yards. During his time in the #NFL Washington played with the #NY #Jets Seattle #Seahawks New England #Patriots and the Tennessee #Titans Washington was drafted in the fourth round of the 2006 #NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida State.
I believe this will be a great hire for the Jets and a great way for the team to unite the fans franchise by bringing in a familiar face.
