The odds are against the Bears, who are listed as 6-point underdogs against the Bucs at press time. With both teams boasting top-nine defenses and the Bucs potentially missing several key offensive starters, this game is expected to be a grinder; it has the lowest total of Week 5 at 44 points.

The pressure was on for Tampa Bay QB Tom Brady in Week 4; he had to comeback from a 17-point deficit against the Los Angeles Chargers in order to extend the Bucs’ win streak to three after losing their season debut.

Brady threw for five touchdowns to lock down the 38-31 victory, keeping the Bucs on top of the NFC South.

The Chicago Bears thought that replacing QB Mitchell Trubisky with QB Nick Foles would be an upgrade after watching Trubisky struggle throughout his last couple of games, but Foles didn’t look much better in his first start of the season against Indianapolis.

The 2018 Super Bowl MVP was 26 of 42 for 249 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the 19-11 loss. G

NFL Odds: Tampa Bay Looks for Fourth Straight Win Against Chicago on Thursday

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are riding high after a 38-31 comeback victory against the LA Chargers—that was after giving up 17 unanswered points to start the game.

They’ll look to carry that momentum to Soldier Field where they’ll face the Chicago Bears as 6-point road favourites on primetime Thursday.

The Bears’ weaknesses were finally unveiled in Week 4 after starting the season 3-0. They’ve already undergone a QB change; Nick Foles is standing in for Mitchell Trubisky, but they’re going to other solutions to keep pace with the Packers in the NFC North.

However, the Bears could be poised to pull off an upset on Thursday if they’re able to exploit some of the Bucs’ injuries, including OJ Howard, Leonard Fournette, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
