Source says the reason for the trade had to do with Quinn not fitting in Wade Phillips' 3-4 scheme.

    Makes sense but he had a resurgent career. It probably came down to the $9 million they could save by cutting him. Figured it was better to take the pick and let someone else eat the $1 mill in guarantees. Wonder if Rams can keep Joyner AND Sammy Watkins with cap savings

      With Quinn and Suh the dolphins have some marquee d linemen anchoring that defense.
