About The Project — Bangsta Bears are a collection of 5,000 Gang Bangin’ Bears. Enough of the cute animal projects, these bears are about BUSINESS. 250 of these bears have already spawned into the NFT world and are running order on the Ethereum Blockchain as of 12/05/21. These fellas are the true heart and soul of the project, hence why they are the Bangsta OGs. There is only so much 250 Bangstas can do though when you’re trying to take over a whole Metaverse. Therefore, 4,750 newly recruited Bangsta Bears will slip by the whisky fees on the Ethereum blockchain and right onto the Solana chain. By doing this there will be very minimal gas fees, which in turn will allow many more Bangstas to join the crew and unite for the common goal…. Integrate into the Metaverse and run Web 3.0 (okay well maybe just the Sandbox for now, but you get the idea!!).

Minting: We will be launching on the Solana Blockchain. We would LOVE to mint onto Magic Eden as we love their platform and feel like that is where Bangsta Bears would thrive the most! We will be minting for WL on January 13th and public on January 15th. The supply is 4,750 with a whitelist price of 0.25 SOL (5 Max) and public mint price of 0.4 SOL. If you are new to the space, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! The days leading up to mint, we will roll out a step by step video and make sure you have your wallet setup, locked & loaded for launch time babyyy!

Why Solana: The reasoning for this is I believe $SOL has a great future & will bring big returns, even bigger than ETH since SOL’s market cap is 10x less. I really believe SOL can easily hit $500–1k next year (2022). Therefore, investing in SOL NFTs is indirectly investing in $SOL at the same time, so would be a good investment in my eyes. Ethereum will always be the superior blockchain for NFTs, but the continuous high gas price is turning people off. Hopefully ETH 2.0 can fix this. For right now the gas fees are a VERY high barrier to entry for people who are new to NFTs. 80% of people have never even heard of an NFT nor know of its existence. Oh, that doesn’t seem like a big enough number? How about 99.4% of Coinbase (crypto) users have never even bought an NFT. Yeah, WE’RE EARLY, WGMI. If you we’re wondering, yes the Polo Ralph Lauren bear was the art inspiration. There is something about that vintage bear that just opens up my wallet and makes me feel some type of way

About The Team -My name is Austin aka “Erk” and I am at the head of the project. I recently just graduated college and have scaled back my other business ventures to work on the project full time. Tyler is our developer who has worked on / counseled on over 10 NFT projects to date and has worked on many other crypto projects before NFTs became mainstream. I’ve been in the crypto space for close to 5 years now and have picked a decent understanding of the blockchain, but working with him, holy heck man, I never knew the extent to what goes “behind the scenes of the blockchain”. Then last, but not least is Edrian from Valiant Graphics who has done work for ESPN, Etsy, Passive Owl & more! He has also done small graphic projects for me in the past on Facebook ads for my e-commerce site and has always done a fantastic job. Reconnecting with him, little did I know he’s been doing NFT art for the past year and has done a few 10k collections for others. You will be amazed by his art, I promise you.

We will be releasing sneak peaks here and there, to give a little tease before we give you the whole thing……. wait, pause. -When it comes to me personally. I have been buying, selling and using crypto for almost 5 years now. The first time I was buying Bitcoin was back when it was $600, unfortunately I was buying it to use it, instead of saving / investing in it sigh . I’ve been into collecting and flipping “NFTs” / digital assets for almost a year now. That may not seem long, but in the NFT world that ish seems like eternity lol. Started with NBA Topshot at that is where I learned to not “ape” into things as in I fell in love, aped in and lost a lot due to being to infatuated to the whole “easy money” flipping digital cards, all in the comfort of my house, on the beach, on vacation, all I needed was my computer and I was set! Thankfully I’ve learned from that mistake though. If you would like to know more about my NFT experiences, past side hustles and “money making ways” please see 💰┃list-of-hustles
