NHL Season Preview

The NHL season starts tomorrow night, and I for one am excited. I just finished my 2ND fantasy league draft and the amount of hockey will watch over the next 6 months is unhealthy.

I grew up a New Jersey Devils fan during the golden years, and this year is exciting for completely different reasons. The rebuild will take a step forward this year, on the backs of Nico and a underrated defense.

Some predictions for the season:

Eastern Conference Playoff 8 (no order)

  • Pittsburgh

  • Ottawa
  • New Jersey
  • Carolina

Western Conference Playoff 8 (no order)

  • Chicago
  • Edmonton
  • Anaheim
  • Nashville
  • Minnesota
  • Calgary
  • Dallas
  • San Jose

Cup Champs: Edmonton
MVP: McDavid
Vezina: Schneider
Calder: Nico
Top Goal Scorer: Matthews
Norris: Hedman

I don't know what type of hockey following there is on Steemit, but if there is a healthy enough community, I'm hoping for some discussion this season.

        I'm hoping for a huge year from Chicago, and I think Dallas will take strides too! As long as the Penguins don't three-peat, I'll be happy. Subbed!
