NHL Odds: Seattle Kraken Vs Tampa Bay Lightning

in nhl •  3 years ago

This Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Lightning will head to Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle to face to Kraken for the second time this season. Both teams are coming off of a win that halted losing streaks. Action starts at 7 PM ET, and TNT has the coverage.

The two-time defending champion Lightning (38-15-6) are second in the Atlantic Division with a +29 goal differential. They saw their dominant 7-1 stretch from mid-February to early March come to an end when they suffered three straight losses on their Canadian road trip, to Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton. They turned things around in Vancouver, thanks to a Herculean effort put on by Tampa Bay goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy, who made 35 saves for the 2-1 win. That should put them on the right track as they look to conclude their road trip in Seattle. The complete NHL live odds can be checked at casinobillionaire blog.

The Kraken (18-37-6) are at the bottom of the Pacific Division and have experienced back-to-back regulation wins just three times in their inaugural season. They struggle at both ends of the ice. Their top goal scorer, Jared McCann (23 goals), has scored in each of the last two games, but lacks consistency overall. Netminder Philipp Grubaur has already faced more shots than ever before in his career, thanks to Seattle’s porous blueline. They’ll almost certainly look to sell assets and rebuild for next season come the NHL trade deadline next Monday.
