You've created a Bitcoin wallet, downloaded Nicehash and started mining! Awesome. You now have created a stream of mostly passive income. Just make sure you are using hardware that actually makes sense to be mining with.

Assuming your rig is profitable, the next step is to keep track of your earnings. You can view your projected earnings based on current earnings at https://www.nicehash.com/miner/YOUR-BTC-ADDRESS-HERE

Of course on Android you could just bookmark your Nicehash URL, however An Android app can make it a bit easier to monitor that your rig is running properly.

The best application I've found on Android is called Monitor for Nicehash. Getting started with the app is super easy. All you have to do is tap the floating action button at the bottom right hand corner, name the miner address and then paste in your BTC address.

The app will then populate with your average profitability, as well as display your projected income on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The app comes with a widget so you can put this info on your homescreen! In is my favorite feature of the app. As you can see I like to get as much information from my homescreen as I can.

The next tab over will display your current balance. In the same tab it will also display what algorithm your rig(s) are mining with with. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, it will also display when your next estimated payout is, again, based on your current income.

If you would like to receive notifications about when Nicehash has distributed payments or when your rig(s) have stopped working, the developer has an optional one-time pay-what-you-want model which costs $3.99, $7.49 or $10.99 to activate the notifications feature.

It will also display the last 7 days worth of payments, all of your active workers and it also has a builtin hardware monitoring service, which costs $1,49/mo USD in the US. I have not personally used the hardware monitoring service so I can't recommend it, but it may or may not work well.

Overall this app works quite well. The main thing to note is it will only work as well as Nicehash does. Nicehash will often has extended periods of unannounced maintenance. Other than that, it works as expected. Let me know if you have any specific questions about the app.
