Most of you already know about the simulated crypto exchange Niffler since the STEEM listing contest shook this chain of blocks to its foundations but you are possibly not aware of the details so let's look into it today.

Introduction
Trading and cryptocurrency are an inseparable pair. Virtually everyone in the cryptoverse is actually a trader in some capacity; whether it is between fiat and BTC, BTC and alt coin or alt coin and Fiat or alt against alt, we all trade. The importance of trading is made even more pronounced by the shear number of trading platforms currently in existence, places like Binance, Bittrex, Rudex, Trade.io, EO.trade and a lot more are all running and all account for Billions of dollars worth of trading on a daily basis, this thus means that everyone with some crypto will require some knowledge of trading.
Typical trading platforms have demo trading sections that randomly simulate a market trend to teach newbies or serve as a refresher for veterans. Niffler on the other hand is an incentivised simulated crypto exchange platform that uses real-time crypto trading patterns using an initial virtual $100k to buy into the market.
What is Niffler?
Niffler is a simulated cryptocurrency trading platform that rewards users for making virtual profit based on crypto trading that is based on real-time simulated crypto exchange. The idea behind this platform is to make trading more attractive for the users by incentivising crypto trading. This Trading platform is designed to give individuals interested in learning a relaxed environment because of the virtual currency used but also give you the same pattern and earning that comes from normal trading.

As you can see, I'm already 25% in simulated profit since I made my first trade buying some bitcoins but to give you a tour of the exchange I'll need to create a new account.
Taking The Tour
To get acquainted with the platform, I advise you take the tour. It is a simple step by step guide to how you can use the simulated crypto exchange platform and benefit from it.
- The Portfolios: Your main portfolio is the initial virtual $100,000 that every new user starts with. You can claim rewards based on the profit you make on the “play money” through virtual trading.
By selecting "Add to portfolio" you can create as many secondary portfolios as you want. These secondary portfolios do not affect your performance or potential to claim reward and are basically meant for testing out trading pattern, strategies, calls etc.
- Simulated Trading On Niffler: Niffler offers a simulated crypto trading environment that mirrors activities of the real-time activities of the market. Trading patterns and strategies are thus based on activities in the real world but with virtual tokens and virtual currency. This means that users can perform trading activities like any other trading platform without the risk of losing actual funds and have the extra motivation of being able to claim rewards based on their performance
- The Rewards: "Play dollars" or the virtual $100,000 in your main portfolio is the basis for claiming rewards. To be eligible to claim rewards, you have a certain performance or profit if I may, that must be reached before you are eligible to claim the available rewards. There are various rewards to claim based on the amount of profit you’ve made on top of your main portfolio.
Back to my main account, even with 25k in profit, I'm still not eligible for rewards because I haven't made the minimum of 10 trades which is required to receive rewards. Now that I think about it, I better do some trades today. I'll probably snatch some cheap STEEM and few EOS.
This reward system serves as an incentive for traders but don't slack off, there are a limited amount of rewards available, well not unless you choose to be a sponsor for another reward and in that case, you select "contact" after the last reward in the list or just click here to be redirected to the contact page.
The Competitions: Competitions are held regularly to reward traders for their performance in the simulated trading arena. These competitions are held sporadically and serve as further incentive for the good people trading on Niffler.
The Cryptos: At the time of writing this article, there are 16 coins listed in the simulated crypto trading platform including BTC, ETH, XRP, STEEM, NEO, OMISEGO. You can see the comprehensive list here
Why use Niffler?

This simplified and relaxed method of learning makes the platform the best place for anyone interested in going into crypto trading in any capacity. The platform offers an interactive environment where users can share their experience through the public feeds or privately in situations when you're testing an idea or just prefer to keep your trade private for research or any other reason.
Advertise on Niffler
There's also the subtle but at the same time hugely profound advertisement avenue for individuals that sponsor the reward program to promote/advertise their brands through the creation of reward. You can leverage this by simply contacting the Niffler team to get a space and get noticed by the thousands of users that visit this place regularly. Niffler may be a simulated cryptocurrency trading platform but the rewards for trading are real and you can easily join too.
See you on the dance floor.
Ive been on Niffler for two months and it's pretty cool! There are a few things that I don't like about it though... It gets the prices from Bitfinex which often times is not aligned with other major exchanges. Also there are no trading fees so you can "game" the system by effectively trading something like DOGE in a small range without any fees and just rack up the trades.

We are planing to implement fees on regular trades to further prevent scalping. Also we do consider moving to Kraken & Binance for price quotes. Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry for the late reply, it somehow got past me. I'm not about abusing the system so I haven't even noticed the possibility of gaming the system in such a manner. Glad to hear that @niffler is already on it and working on solutions to fix it.
