The very best way to grow is, never post a poem on the day you write it. Read it (carefully) the next day, if you can, read it aloud. Do the verses have a rhythm, do they sing to you? You'll soon learn to feel which lines spoil your poem and how to tune them.

The prouder you can be of your poems, the more likely your friends here will grow prouder of you and help drag in other friends...and you'll feel like you are flying, for you will have earned it.
