Who knows something about talent? I’ve heard this saying from a big company “Talent is evenly distributed, opportunity is not”
And then I look at myself, what talents do I have? If I was really honest, I'd say none!
Every now and then, I see competitions online with fantastic prizes, dance, music...I can’t dance or sing, I’m bad at art, writing is not something I like, and many other things I’m just fair at..well except if you count spending money as a talent then I guess I’m good.
Years ago, I had a friend that could beat the drum, she was really good..when I tried, I could barely hold the sticks well not to talk of making a good beat. When I asked who taught her, she said “I just know how to beat it”. No training, no lessons, just pure talent.
Makes me wonder, don’t you have to notice that thing you have a knack for before you proceed to dwell on it? Some people have a special talent for getting upvotes on Steemit, how?!! I like sewing, and so I’ve started to take sewing lessons..let’s see how it goes.
All in all, I don’t think talent is evenly distributed. Except if my drawings are considered work of talent, I mean worse drawings sell for a lot of money.
