My achievement and plans after a long vacation

Yes. It has been a century since I had bidden this platform farewell but I am solidly and fully back now. I am a more reader than a writer. I have read a number of authors this year ranging from Sophocles, Shakespeare, Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Anton Chekov, Korlenko, Ralph Cotton, Chigozie Obioma, Lu Hsun, Laila Lalami, Lola Shoneyin, Ayobami Adebayo, Michel Foucault, Olga Grushin, Monica Ali, Adam Abubakar Ibrahim and many more.

Well the effect of having read those authors is that I have learned to write in creative and imaginative ways. I have learned about plot construction, character creation, setting and so forth. I have also learned the importance of voice, gesture and the necessity to create captivating sentences of course, which many grounded writers do not confess to having striven to achieve, "it comes naturally, many would say."

Now I want to give myself to you as a coin. The first side will be the story I wrote while I was an O' level student. I will give you the complete drama, quite dramatic and bulky but I am sure you will enjoy it because is a product of my imaginative mind while it was yet a maiden.

Now, after reading this I will provide you with another side of me, that is, the present me, refined and pure as crystal but still working more on self-improvement. So the other side of me will be presented to you in form of a novel in episodic form. I hope you keep following. Enjoy, critique and correct. Thank you.pexels-photo-261734.jpeg
