The world is filled with really scary and mysterious things and places that will leave your jaw dropped! No matter of a "Hard person" you are your heart might wanna skip beats as you learn about these really scary and weird places on this same planet we live in.... Lets go

  1. THE CATACOMBS OF PARIS
    The catacombs of Paris is 370feet underground the streets of Paris. In 2010, A video footage was discovered by cave explorers who managed to come out safe as they did not venture too far into the tunnel. This video contained footage showing a man wandering, lost, through the dark corridors until he finally panics, drops the camera, and bolts off into the dark, never to be seen again (though others
    doubt the authenticity of the recording)
    The catacomb isn't a myth as it is truly home to dry bones and skulls of Explorers who Have entered the catacombs through the official entrance, known as the Barrière d'Enfer ("Gate of Hell"), or through several clandestine entrance ways throughout Paris. It is believed that not of all of these explorers come back out.
    The Catacomb of Paris was the original location of the 2014 horror thriller "As Above, So Below.

2.THE HANGING COFFINS OF SAGADA, PHILLIPINES
Other neighboring communities opine that this practice is done to save land space and avoid contamination of crops but Hanging coffins in Echo Valley, Sagada, are predominantly reserved for Igorot elders with families, because it is spiritually believed that the younger generations will benefit from the success of the "Burial". Family members who strongly believe that carrying the corpse to its waiting coffin at the cliff edge in order to be contaminated by the bodily fluids is a prerequisite for inheriting the talent and luck of their dead relative. People in this region don’t bury their dead. They hang their coffins up instead. You’ll find thousands of coffins that are hundreds of years old on the sides of the cliff. Weird!

  1. DOOR TO HELL TURKMENISTAN
    Located in the middle of the Karakum Desert in Turkmenistan this locally termed and imaginary looking ‘Door to hell’ is a 230-foot-wide crater that has never stopped burning for the past 40 years till date! Yes, a 40year old burning flames.When Soviet scientists began searching for oil back in 1971, they accidentally hit a methane reserve and the drilling platform collapsed, forming the crater and releasing dangerous gas into the air. The scientists decided to light the crater on fire to burn off the methane, and the fire is still lit to this day.

  1. ISLAND OF DOLLS, MEXICO
    Having hundreds of decaying dolls hanging on the trees is this beautiful man-made canals of Xochimico (chinampas), Mexico. Legend has it that the Island of the dolls was created by its caretaker Don julian santana barrera who discovered the corpse of a young girl who had drowned and hung up her washed up doll to pay his respects. He kept adding more dolls to his collection as visitors would bring them.

    He allegedly drowned and died in the canal and was found on the same spot the drowned girl died. Strange! The dolls look terrifying in sunlight and a visit after dark is not recommended

5.CASTLE OF GOOD HOPE, SOUTH AFRICA
As the Oldest building in South Africa built in 1666, it is naturally haunted. As a fort and a prison, it had a toture chamber like a dungeon where prisoners were chained and Tortured to death. The spectre of the former governor, Pieter Van noodt supposedly roams the castle walls and can be heard cursing. There are 2 bells(a manual and electric) in the castle which rings at interval without any human assistance as the bellman hung himself with a rope hundreds of years ago. There are also lights that switches on and off too without electrical power nor human assistance.

6.HASHIMA ISLAND, JAPAN
Off the coast of Japan Hashima island A.K.A battleship island was a site of forced labour during world war ||. With crumbling concrete buildings, abandoned undersea coalmines and a dramatic surrounding seawall. Legend has it that the ghost of many prisoners who were forced into labour during the era of early Japanese industrialization who lost their lives were abandoned on the island, still creep around till date. It was recently discovered that scraps of old TV's and soda bottles were found laying around in some rooms in the island

7.PLUCKLEY VILLAGE, ENGLAND
Having previously held the record for being the most haunted village in Britain, although the category has been scrapped by the Guiness book of records Pluckley is the home of many supernatural and ghostly legends. It still attracts amateur ghost hunters till today. Among the most famous reported hauntings is that of a phantom highwayman, the Red Lady or Lady Dering (who died in the 12th century), sighted in the churchyard of St Nicholas. Other reputed hauntings include a ghostly monk and a gypsy woman who died in mysterious circumstances. Three of these are all within a few feet at the road junction ghost hunters have dubbed Fright Corner .
