The general goal of making Nigerians embrace Steemit and make Steem a known Cryptocurrency in the the West African Giant just like Bitcoin could not be over-emphasized. STEEM-LAGOS WORKSHOP 1.0- Taking Steemit into the City!
It has been a great privilege to embrace steemit, but it would have been more jolly if the user base surpasses conventional Social media sites, hence we at @steem-lagos decided tom lunch a workshop series, to be able to reach the Nigerian masses especially the 25million population of the city of Lagos Nigeria.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE
A Facebook campaign page was lunched a week ago from now to promote the Steemit Workshop in the city, to read more of the Facebook page and Event of the Steemit Workshop in Lagos and share to your friends, Kindly Log on yo Facebook and Search for Steemlagos and The Event page of the Workshop, like it and share to your Friends and Family you wish to make an impact in their lives by introducing them to the Blockachain Technology.
DATE
As earlier announced, The Workshop was schedule between the 3rd and 4th Saturday of the month of October, we are categorically confirming it that Saturday 28th of October had been agreed upon for the Steemit Workshop. The reason being that; it gives us enough time to arrange for the events and handle logistics properly.
VENUE
The venue chosen is LaMango in Ikeja. Full details of the location still withheld as we are still in negotiation with the management on the facilities and fees for renting the outlet. Below is a two-option work-space available at the event center:
Option A- Rooftop Terrace of 100 audience Capacity
Option B: Less than 100 Capacity
By the next update, the most economical Work-space for the Workshop would have been selected and a feedback will ensued. It is the first of it's kind so we shall not be discouraged with the Turnout.

Once again, we urge you Steemians in the City of Lagos who find this as a worthy cause to expand the user base in the City that never sleeps- indicate your availability in the comments below and it is a task to bring one or more prospect along to the Workshop, if you are a newbie; all your questions might be answered!
