Who inspires you?
Nigeria's qualifying to the FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 was sealed by the lone goal scored by Alex Iwobi. Alex has always been inspired by Austin J.J. Okocha his uncle.
“I was always looking up to my uncle. Everyone knew that my uncle played for Bolton and he was a very big figure in Africa as well."
Few years down the line, Alex's dream of becoming greater than J.J is coming to pass.
One of the key elements of getting to the top and growing in relevance is getting inspiration from those already successful in their field. Learning from them makes the journey more interesting. Who inspires you? and who do you inspire? This is the questions we need to ask ourselves individually.
For me inspiration here is vise- versa, in most companies they say train the trainer, here i say inspire the inspirer. If we are inspired by others and we are not working to expectation they will be dampened and feel they are not performing but if we work to expectation the inspirer will be spur on to do more.
